Gail Wiener has lived in 7 different states but has called Indianapolis her home
for the past 28 years.  She has always had a passion for interior design,
decorating, reading, Bible study, traveling and photography.  She was bitten by
the photography bug while attending Slippery Rock State College.

She started taking her own “photo letters” in 2007 after seeing this new art form
in a gift shop.  She loved the concept but decided she could maybe find prettier
letters.  It proved to be a little more difficult than she thought but doing some
extensive traveling that year (particularly to cities with old architecture) helped
her to create a very interesting and beautiful alphabet.  Her favorite photo
letters come from St. Louis, Boston, San Francisco, Kansas City, MO and right here
in Indianapolis.  While she originally printed her letters only in black & white, Gail
now sells them mostly in color.  She felt, “The B&W just didn't do them justice!”
