I am an Indiana artist, living and working out of my home studio here in Carmel.

I am an intuitive painter, painting because it fills a deep need inside me. It’s when I feel my most authentic. Working out life on a canvas is probably one of the healthiest things I do for myself. Contentment & joyfulness are always an end result of my work.

My portfolio concentrates mainly on abstract pieces, reflections of where I am in life. It’s how I work out what I’m experiencing & feeling. Each piece is therapeutic, personal and authentic to the time in which it was created. Rarely going into a paining with a set goal in mind, the outcomes are often surprises, even to me. I find great joy found in manipulating colors & textures on my canvas’, seeing what I can draw out of myself.

While abstract work is where I find a lot of delight, there are occasions when I also enjoy representing images more realistically, often working from photographs.

My work has been juried into the Hamilton County Artist Association, The Lost Dog Gallery, Broad Ripple’s Gallery 6202, the Carmel Clay Public Library, the Indiana State Fair and most recently, as one of the Indianapolis High Art Billboard Project artists.
