Kenneth Keifer, Photographer

Kenneth Keifer

Since before his days as a high school yearbook photographer, Ken Keifer, has loved photography...the art, the craft, the science, the colors, geometry, emotion, play of light and shadows, recording a special moment in time and space....everything about it! Photography is a passion of Ken's that helps satisfy his God-given creative drive. Ken loves what Ansel Adams, arguably the greatest landscape photographer ever, once said, "Sometimes I get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter."

Ken, a frequent speaker and judge at camera clubs and artist groups, is consistently ranked one of Indiana's best photographers. He recently topped a list of "5 Best Landscape Photographers of Indianapolis" by PeerSpace (link: https://www.peerspace.com/resources/landscape-photographers-indianapolis/) and has been named multiple times as one of Indiana's Top Ten Professional Photographers by the Indianapolis Professional Photographers Guild. Two of Ken's waterfall photographs were selected to be featured on 2023 United States Postage Stamps and Ken was invited to speak at the stamp issuance ceremony held at Yellowstone National Park. Additionally, his award-winning work has been featured by USA Today, CNN Travel, Pure Michigan, Visit Indiana, thousands of websites, international television shows, books, travel guides and maps, calendars, concerts and music videos, airports, businesses, thousands of offices and private homes, and in churches in all fifty states and around the world.
In addition to having his fine art photography featured at CCA Gallery, Ken also participates in several art fairs each year and serves on the committees of two prestigious Indiana art fairs, the Talbot Street Art Fair (link: talbotstreet.org ) in Indianapolis and Bloomington, Indiana's 4th Street Festival of Arts and Crafts (link 4thstreet.org

Ken personally processes and prints his photography, offering them as matted prints and stretched canvas wraps using inks, substrates, and varnished certified archival to 100+ years. Ken also features his work as metal prints that are produced at high end photo labs under his direct supervision. Please inquire if you have any questions regarding Ken's work or would like a list of upcoming events where you can see his photography.

Ken is available for photography workshops and seminars (beginner & intermediate sessions are his favorites) and would love to chat with you about that. He also has a degree in communications, by the way, and is a seasoned public speaker. Please contact Ken for more info about what he can provide for you or your club/group.
