A world of beauty beyond the eyes.
A form of photography capturing art, created too fast for the human eye to register.
Using stop action photography, at a speed of 1/1000-20,000 of a second, let’s us observe this world of beauty at our leisure.
I started into the realm of photography in 2005, photographing products for my company. I became fascinated with the combination of light vs speed and found myself wanting to capture the smallest of life’s beauty… a single drop of water on a blade of grass or the filament of a flower.
In 2016, my husband was diagnosed with a rare cancer, and my life became living his cancer. After a year, I realized I was responsible for taking back my life. I started by picking up my camera, making a list of different types of macro photography, and began to experiment.
My love and passion for stop action photography was born in capturing a suspended drop of water, the ethereal beauty of smoke, the ever-changing surface of a soap bubble, or capturing dancing paint.
Today, I continue to explore what can be captured, but not seen, by the naked eye.
